It's Easy To Schedule Training. Call Now to Speak With an Experienced Trainer
There is perhaps nothing more sobering than a mass shooting. While these horrific events may have not been as common years ago, times have changed. It’s true: we can’t always prevent these shootings from happening, but we can prepare ourselves for them. After all, the best way to preserve the well-being of our coworkers, students, clients, and loved ones is to teach them how to protect themselves and those around them. We’ve all heard it before: there’s safety in numbers; therefore, the more people in a group who are prepared for the worst, the better.
We Teach When & How To Run, Hide, & Defend Yourself
To survive an active shooter scenario, you must act quickly. Ultimately, you should…
Run.
Unless you are trained to challenge armed intruders, you should immediately run to safety. In the moment, you may feel like you’re abandoning your friends by doing this. Don’t think this way. Instead, accept that the only way to help is by alerting the authorities.
If You Can’t Run, Hide.
Sometimes, running is simply not an option. In these cases, stealth is key. Many people have survived active shooter situations by staying out of sight. This is, of course, a skill in itself. On the one hand, you need to know how to identify hiding spots, and how to stay calm while utilizing them. When you take one of our classes, you’ll learn how to find appropriate cover in a variety of environments.
If You Can’t Run or Hide, Defend Yourself.
If there’s no way out, then you need to know how to defend yourself against such an evil threat. We’ll explain how even the most gentle people can tap into fight or flight mode, and even come out on top.
Hope For The Best, But Prepare For The Worst.
